LOCATION: The park is located 13 miles west of Live Oak, off U.S. 90.
ACTIVITIES: Recreational activities include camping, swimming, fishing, hiking, boating and canoeing.
FACILITIES: A youth camping area and canoe rental is available. Contact the park on fees and restrictions.
FEES: Camping fees from October 1 to February 28 are $8 per day per site plus $.50 per day for each extra person. From March 1 to September 30, fees are $13 per day per site plus $.50 per day for each extra person.
SITE: Nature explorers will revel in over 1,800 acres of sand hill, river swamp and hardwood hammock plant communities. Great horned owls, turkeys, pleated woodpeckers, otters, beavers, alligators, red-tailed hawks and gopher tortoises abound.
