LOCATION: Located in the central panhandle, the park is on St. George Island, 10 miles southeast of Eastpoint, off U.S. 98.
ACTIVITIES: Recreational activities include sunbathing, swimming, fishing, camping, primitive camping, picnicking, hiking and nature study.
FACILITIES: Facilities include nature trails, a primitive camping area, a youth camping area and a full service camping area. The park has several boat ramps and a nature trail.
FEES: Camping fees are $8 per day per site plus $.50 per day for each extra person.
SITE: St. George Island is one of the best examples of Florida's Gulf
coast barrier islands. A series of trail board walks and observation platforms allow
visitors to see it all.
