LOCATION: Ochlockonee River State Park is located four miles south of Sopchoppy on U.S. 319.
ACTIVITIES: Separate riverside campgrounds are offered for park visitors and youth groups with picnicking, fishing and a boat ramp available.
FACILITIES: A youth camping area and canoe rental is available. Contact the park for fees and restrictions.
FEES: From October 1 to February 28, camping fees are $10 per day per site plus $.50 per day for each extra person. From March 1 to September 30, fees are $12 per day per site plus $.50 per day for each extra person.
SITE: Pristine Ochlockonee River is the setting for this 392-acre park, just 10 miles for the Gulf coast. Small grass ponds, bayheads and oak thickets provide diverse habitat for deer, bobcat, gray fox and extensive bird life.
