LOCATION: Florida Cavern State Park is located three miles north of Marianna on State Road 167.
ACTIVITIES: Activities at Florida Caverns include camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, canoeing and nature study, in addition to the guided tours of the fascinating caves.
FACILITIES: A youth camping area and canoe rental is available. Contact park for fees and restrictions.
FEES: From October 1 to February 28, camping is $8 per day per site with $2.00 per day for each extra person. From March 1 through September 30, fees are $12 per day per site plus $.50 per day for each extra person.
CAVE MANAGEMENT PLAN: Ranger led cavern tours are offered throughout the
day between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ALL OTHER GATED AND UNGATED CAVES IN THE PARK ARE TEMPORARILY
CLOSED. The Florida Park Service is currently working with the National Park Service and
various cave clubs that are associated with the National Speleological Society, to develop
a responsible, comprehensive cave management plan for the caves which exist within the
park.
