Capitol Historical Hike
Length of trail: 12 miles
Time to complete trail: varies
Description: The trail goes through the historic city of Baton Rouge and offers compass
directions as an option for those hikers who enjoy a challenge. A patch and medal can be
sent off for after completing the trail.
Activities: The trail contains many museums which may be visited. In addition, one may
choose to visit the Greater Baton Rouge Zoo, the LASC Planetarium, or the battleship, the
U.S.S. Kidd.
