LOCATION: Located on DeSoto Caverns Parkway, Hwy. 76, 5 miles east of Childersburg. Located 82 miles from Montgomery and 36 miles from Birmingham.

Gem panning, water-powered rock saw, ship playground, lost trail maze, primitive weapons arcade, September Fest, Indian Dance Festival, Prehistoric Indian habitat and burial ground, Birthplace and legendary center of Creek Indian nation, the first officially recorded cave in the USA -1796, 20th century show cave and movie set with King Cobra's Throne and Tom Sawyer's Escape. Stays 60o year-round. Open year round except Thanksgiving and Christmas. COSTS: All overnights require a $250 non-transferable and non-refundable deposit to reserve the caverns for the night of your choice. Your group has the cave to itself for the evening.
