LOCATION: 7 miles southeast of McMinnville off Highway 8. Located 65 miles northwest of Chattanooga via US 127 to Dunlap and Hwy. 8 to McMinnville. (About 2 hours.)

ATTRACTIONS: Cumberland Caverns is America's second largest cave. It has over 32 miles of passageway, hundreds of rooms, beautiful cave formations, splashing waterfalls, and more. The front part of the cave has been opened as a tourist attraction to the public and has trails, stairs, and modern indirect lighting. The special SPELUNKING trip makes a SPELUNKER (cave-explorer) out of you! Youth are shown entire developed sections of the cave, plus a considerable amount that is not yet open to the public. You'll sleep in the half-mile long "Big Room" and have breakfast in the "Volcano Room." Real cave exploring in "Gypsum Crawl", "Bubble Gum Alley", and more! Three patches are available, "Caveman", "Troglodyte", and "Historic."

COSTS: (Spelunking Trip) $14.00 + 1.12 tax each, including breakfast. One adult leader admitted free for each 10 paying youth. Patches: $3.50 each + tax. Call the caverns for more detailed reservation information. FACILITIES: Snack bar, restrooms in cave. Shelter house, picnic tables, and restrooms on surface. Gift shop in park.
