LOCATION: Joe Wheeler State Park is located in Lauderdale County 2 miles west of Rogersville, Alabama, off U.S. Highway 72.

FACILITIES: Joe Wheeler State Park offers 116 improved campsites with hookups, cabins, group lodges, a modern marina, store, boat rental, boat launch ramps, picnic areas, tennis court, golf course, and a playground area. The park offers 5 miles of hiking with 6 trails.

SITE: The 2,550 acre resort park is divided into three separate areas. The main facilities are near Rogersville, Alabama. A modern full hook-up campground is nestled in a secluded wooded area near the golf course and resort lodge. South of Wheeler Dam are rustic cabins, tennis courts, boat launch, and a recreational area. This area is a fisherman's delight.
